Cancellation Policy


Your appointments are very important to us, it is reserved especially  for you, we understand that sometimes schedules adjustments are  necessary; therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours notice  for cancellations. Our appointments are confirmed 48 hours in advance  because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked  months ago.  Since the services are reserved for you personally, a  Cancellation fee will apply.


Less than 24 hour notice will result in a charge equal to 50% of the reserved service amount. “NO SHOWS” will be charged 100%  of the reserved service amount. Appointments made within the 24 hour  period and need to cancel, the client then must cancel within 4 hours of  appointment time or will result in a charge equal to 50% of the  reserved service amount. Any multiple services or combos must be held  with a credit card. Multiple services or combos not cancelled 24 hours  in advance will be charged 100% of the reserved service amount. A credit  card "HOLD" transaction maybe made on your credit card to reserve the  appointment time.


The cancellation policy allows us the time to  inform our standby guests of any availability, as well as keeping our  team members scheduled filled, thus better serving everyone. Our  policies are presented and provided in the best quality and tradition of  excellent servicing for our established and future clientele. Running Late


We understand, life is crazy and things happen. However, if you are  running more than 15 minutes late according to our clock, the  appointment may have to be rescheduled. We will do what we can to get  you in as soon as we can.  Please let us know as soon as possible if  you're going to be late.  No-Show & Cancellation Policy may be  applied. (See above policy)


Confirmation Calls


As  a courtesy, our automated systems will call/text or e-mail to confirm your service appointments 48 hours prior to your appointment date. However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, please understand that it is your  responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid  late arrivals, missed appointments and the cancellation fee.


Haircut or Color Adjustments


If there is something that you do not love about your cut or color, we want to make it perfect for you.  Please contact the salon within 3 days of your original service appointment and we will gladly do what it takes to make it perfect for you! **Please note, that if the adjustment is something completely different from the original appointment it will be an additional fee.**


Return Policy


We do not accept returns or exchanges unless the item you purchased is  defective; services are nonrefundable. If you receive a defective item, please contact us with details of the product and the defect.


Children


As a community focused salon, Nova Salon & Spa welcomes families and children. However, due to safety considerations, children, ages 8 and under, are not permitted in the salon if they are not receiving a service. If a parent brings a child, age 8 or under, to the salon during the parent’s service and the child is running around, the service will need to be rescheduled at a later time when the child is not accompanying the parent. 


In the case of a child coming in to receive a service, to ensure the safety of the children and guests at Nova Salon & Spa, we will refuse service if a child will not sit still for the service. The liability is too great for Nova Salon & Spa to assume responsibility for children in an environment that has many dangers present for children.
